My approach to mindfulness is grounded in well-established, research-backed methods used in both organisational and clinical settings.
I trained as an accredited mindfulness teacher with the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation, through a programme approved by the British Psychological Society, which integrates key elements of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). These approaches are evidence-based and widely used to support stress reduction, emotional regulation, and mental wellbeing.
In addition, my work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modern cognitive behavior therapy approach that combines mindfulness with other processes. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions, ACT helps you relate to them differently, so you can respond more effectively and take meaningful action aligned with what matters most to you — in your work or daily life. In practice, this means developing what is technically called psychological flexibility.
